Does anyone know if they ever made home tuners that show the singer and the radio station in the display?

I was always curious about that because it shows everything about the radio station and the singer on the stereo system in my car but I have never seen thing like that on the home tuners!

My pre-pro has an HD radio tuner. It shows the station name, frequency, artist, and song title.

Is this directed at me?

If so, it is a Denon AVP-A1HDCI. If all you want is a tuner that lists song info, then the Sony would be much more cost effective.

Thanks for telling me guys. I was just asking because I have never seen any tuners like this and I didn't even know if they make them for home but they do!

I guess in future they will start making them like that especially with the new XM radio stations!

Just so you know, HD radio is free (at least for now). Your major local radio stations may be broadcasting this format. While you're at it, look into Internet radio. Huge variety out there in terms of Genre. Another free option that will display those options you spoke about.
