Downloaded this most excellent program called DVD audio extractor and it worked extremely well. I've often wondered how to get that song off of a DVD that keeps the quality intact and this did the job painlessly. I would imagine on a larger DVD, like a movie it would take some trial and effort to locate the song but on this promotional DVD with 5 tracks I got the right one on the first try. Very cool little program for those who might need such a thing.

I have several DVDs I'd like to try this on. I'll let you know how it goes.

You know what I'd really to do is rip them as AC3 files (isn't that what the DD 5.1 is called?) and start a collection so that I can burn a DVD sampler of 5.1 encoded tunes. Now that would be cool. I think this program can do it, but until I do it I won't be sure.
