That's not a bad price, I paid $1350 CDN for mine shortly after they were introduced.

BR, I think we may need to have a regular thread for items on sale, somewhere in the forums...

There are a number of smoking hot deals on closeout items on Audioadvisor etc...

Combine say the GT1 with a Musical Fidelity A1 (both on Audioadvisor at half price) and you have a $4K Speaker/Amp combo new for only $2K...

Agreed! There should be an on going thread for good deals. It could help a lot of people!

Since we are talking good deals, here's a great deal on a very good sub woofer if you live by a Fry's store. They are selling the Martin Logan Abyss 12" sub for local pick up for $399. This sub normally sold for about $1K. If I lived in CA I would buy this in a heart beat. Its a very musical sub great for 2ch music and would also do well in HT set up in a moderate sized room.

I'm considering saving some dough and going with the abyss or maybe the Rythmik F12se
if I can find some good reviews on it. I can't find any professional reviews!

Or I may go with the Grotto i. I think that the aluminum drivers will be more musical and faster.

Great idea Ajani...

Those GT-1's kinda remind of my friend's Image 4T's which I have been impressed with.
