I have recently acquired a pair of atc scm 100a active loudspeakers.
the problem is that the two 2 speakers play at different volume levels. I have checked all other components and the fault lies with one of the speakers.

Anybody have any ides

You may need to be a little more specific about what you're hearing. According to the manufacturer's website, this is an active, triamplified speaker, so has separate amps for the hi, mid and bass frequencies. Can you tell if a section, or multiple sections are "low"?

The site doesn't have the manual available, so I can't tell if there's a main volume which attenuates all sections at once and /or if each is adjusted individually. It could be as simple as turning up the volume on the lower level speaker.

If say, only the bass section is low, the problem may be with its 250W LF amp. The same with the HI and Mid freq. amps. You may want to be more specific to get the best responses.

Thanks for your response, I really appreciate it.
I don't think that the problem is with any one specific frequency.
It seems as if the all are fine, just operating at a different output!
I really can't figure out a possible cause.
