What a funny movie. I really did not know what this movie was about, only saw a brief preview and thought the animation was interesting. Actually, it is pretty good. The story is somewhat predictable I guess but lots of good adult humor thrown in there.

Much better movie overall than Wall-E. I laughed through the whole movie but was fasting so all the food drove me a bit nuts. I will watch this one again to catch things I missed.

Just got Whip It so I will post a review shortly.

I saw this movie in 3D in the theater, and it was so good I just couldn't wait for the Blu ray. I have to thank my buddy at Sony studios for sending me a review copy of the movie. It was just as good in 2D as it was in 3D.

He told me a Sony used custom rendering software to create animation that has a unique texture. He was right.

I also love the movie. My kids saw it in 3D at a local theatre.

Yeah, saw it tonight on blu. It was good and will have to go on the buy list. My eight year old kept bugging me since we got the movie home yesterday about throwing food at the screen. I'm like what are you talking about, are you crazy, lost your mind. She said you do it with your remote. Look I'm just watching the movie. Any way afterward I relented and went searching in the menu. After several exchanges on the topic I thought it might have been a BD Live feature so I was going to show her it wouldn't work as I do not have internet connected. Come to find out it is in the "special features" and sure enough the movie can be set to allow remote control food throwing antics while you watch. So I guess I will turn her loose with it tomorrow while I find something else to do :)

You better get a wrist strap from your Wii so she doesn't throw the remote through the screen.

It was one of my kids favorite books when they were little. Read it so many times I could not even begin to think about watching a movie version......

C'mon you don't want to be one of those guys who watch the movie to criticize how it doesn't compare to the book? :)

This is only available on the BR version, not the plain DVD. Is it any fun?

My 8 year old thinks so :) It probably wouldn't take long for the interest to wear off.
