I use a 5 channel B & K for Martin Logan stats. This was the first amp that had the grunt to squeeze those stats right. Never had a fuse blow with 1-2 ohm loads. I salute them.
Other amps were Carver, NAD, Rotel.

I am a more of electronics technical guy with dumn ears. I was seduced by huge toroidal transformers and giant filter caps and now I own BK VMR 654. I am impress by their build. But again this is my first BK. So far I am impressed.

I like B&K, they are well made and were very well respected a few years back. They make nice beefy amps with a unique sound and at a very good price point. Their reference series amps are a great amp if your on a budget and don't want to spend upwards of $2K for an amp.

I've heard nothing but good things about B&K. When I lived in North Carolina a local store there carried B&K amps and hometheater recievers. Nice powerful warm sounding amps. You will be pleased and satisfied.
