Amazon has smoking prices on earbuds. I recommend the AKG. I will have to check current prices but I believe I paid less than $50.00. If you can deal with them being chrome color. They sound much better than the Sennheiser I bought my daughter. The AKG have amazing bass, period, but really surprising to hear that kind of response from an earbud. Well with all that being said I went to Amazon, I could not find the buds I was talking about and the newer models shown don't have good ratings, so I'm not sure what to say there. I personally hesitate to buy if bad reviews. I read them first to make sure they don't give low ratings for something stupid.

I did see some JVC which were only $14.95. I would not hesitate to buy them because of the cheap price. I bought my other daughter a $20.00 pair of portable on the ear phones and I was amazed at how good they sounded for $20.00 phones. Kicker had a pair of buds at $49.95. It's surprising whose name you see on buds. Any way Kicker is usually associated with some decent car audio so I'd think the product they put their name on would be good. Believe it or not I have heard also the Monster stuff is decent too.

The Sennheiser CX300 will be much better than the SkullCandy but there are better sounding buds at or under $50.00. I don't know how the cheaper Creative Labs sound but their $99.00 set was very good.

Any way I hope this was some help. I wish my AKG model was still there. Amazon carries a huge selection though, just search for ear buds and you'll have pages to look at with user reviews.

No. mine are definitely AKG. I couldn't see a model number on the bud or case. I'll have to go into my past purchases to see what the model is.

As far as the TEAC, if they don't charge a lot for shipping the price is cheap enough you shouldn't get hurt if not completely satisfied. Unfortunately, there is really no way of knowing how good a set is until you try them. Keep in mind that good buds or phones will require some break in. I'll usually take a listen right out of the box but not get disappointed by what I hear, I will then hook them up to something and let them play for 20 or more hours. I've always noticed a significant improvement on all my Sennheiser. To be honest I can't remember how much happened with the AKG.

Here they are: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ISP3QA/ref=ox_ya_oh_product

The AKG K324, it shows you can buy new for $24.xx with a retail of $99.00. You should snag these I know they will make you happy. They come with a little case for the earbud part and 3 sizes of the part that goes in the ear. The main Amazon seller shows $69.00 but look at the other smaller link where it shows "new from $24.00".

Shure makes very nice earphones, although the prices are higher. This one is $58.88...

I might have some doubts about the authenticity of the ones from the eBay seller. Some of his feedbacks mention that and some quality issues on various products.

They seem to get decent scores on reviews. I have not heard the Klipsch earbuds. I'd like to out of curiosity. I'm not a big fan of their speakers but many are. And, who knows if the two products are close at all. If you decide to get them be sure to come back and post your impressions.
