I just watched this flick last night and it's amazing. If you're a Stanley Kubrick fan, you'd love it. It's a stylized biopic of "Britain's Most Violent Prisoner," Charlie Bronson (who took his name in homage to the Death Wish star) directed by Nicolas Winding Refn, who did the Pusher trilogy. Tom Hardy plays Bronson and he is absolutely bat**** insane, like Daniel Day Lewis in There Will Be Blood on a massive dose of steroids and amphetamines. Not for the weak-stomached (pretty much long stretches of tension punctuated by extreme violence throughout) but utterly mesmerizing. Trailer below:
