very sad

The Alan Parson's Project went south fast after Parsons and Woolfson parted company. Supposedly, Woolfson recorded some solo stuff, but I haven't heard it. Woolfson was the definitive voice of APP even if Parsons did use several singers throughout his recording career.

Bummer, he is part of my life's soundtrack.

Until I heard about this on the radio I didn't realize who he was, nor did I realize what a large part he played in APB.

I wanted to hear something from an album APB done a couple years back, Gilmour was to have done some guitar work and the album was supposed to be sort of Electronica. Of course, depending on one's view, a lot of APB could be considered Electronica.

Still my all time favorite is the non-Classical side of Tales Of Mystery & Imagination. One of Woolfson's last project was something to do with Edgar Alan Poe, I wonder if TOM&I was maybe a Woolfson Project.

I sorely miss The Alan Parsons Project, and deeply regret the loss of Eric. He was 64, and so am I: kinda' reminds me how lucky I am to still be alive.
