Some pretty good manglage there...but I gotta go with He-Man and the total screwjob that was "Masters of the Universe"...I wasn't very old when that came out and had a ton of He-Man toys when I was a kid...that movie ruined He-Man for me forever.

Of your list...Superman IV...I think that was the one with the Nuclear bad guy...awful.

It woulda been a good movie had He-Man any dialog...Dolph Lundgren was so lame

If I remember right, that 90's Cap America was never released (I never seen it). Saw the '80s version...he had a motorcycle...

I put Ghost Rider on that list and take Ang Lee's Hulk off...t'wernt that bad

I voted for Supe IV...at least III had Prior.

The producer, writer and director of Flash Gordon should be tortured to death with repeated watchings of their abortion.

Doc Savage and Flash Gordon (may as well include Buck Rogers) were typical campy, '70s schlock; they're what one should expect of the time period. Even the first two Superman movies were real cornball in spots plus the sloppy, lazy editing. The makers of Flash Gordon were trying to pay homage to the old '30s Buster Crab serial. Its still more watchable than Gil Gerards second-rate Burt Reynolds impersonation. I barely remember Doc Savage - I saw it on cable years ago, but it too was played for camp.

Anyone ever see the boot of the '90s version of the Fantastic Four? I haven't but I heard it sucked so hard it never saw even a VHS release.

My vote goes to Superman IV because Superman is by far the most iconic character on the list with Batman. The others are second rate superheros (except the Hulk but it wasn't that horrible - Ang went for the high brow art crowd and it was a bit of a misfire but it wasn't terrible on that level).

Superman III was bad but still had some merit. With the budget and the actors it could have been a lot better - the story was truly lousy. That said - Superman Returns with Kevin Spacey had all the makings of a good movie and was a complete and utter crapfest from start to finish - with the dopiest Lois Lane casting imaginable. BAD BAD BAD movie. At least Superman III tried to be creative.

Oh and the Avengers with Ralph Fiennes, Sean Connery, and Uma Thurman - a movie I was SOOOOOO excited to see because that is an outstanding cast based on a very sexy smart tv series with two secret agents of the James Bond idea but sexual innuendo and clever dialog was reduced to lame duck Tea jokes and a completely idiotic story. American don't get British humour and they never ever should have let one get anywhere near the script.

Which Batman was it that had Arnie as Dr Freeze? Man that was crap! About the only thing good was that huge gorilla guy in the mask with the tubes sticking out of his head. I nearly pissed a kidney everytime he was on screen!

To add to my previous Flash Gordon comments.

Poor acting. Really poor from that guy that played Flash.
Poor special effects. Hokey, tacky and schloky.
The story was so silly it bordered on being terminally stupid. I guess that goes along with terminally bad SFX.

Wondered how long it would take for that film to "rear its ugly head". I can see it didn't take long...

Thanks Deano...
