That would be... me! At the UIC Pavillion in Chicago.

Apparently, their set last night was 28 songs long. So I might be a tad sleepy at work tomorrow. (And I have a pitch meeting first thing in the morning. Oh well.)

Last night's set list:

P.S. If they don't play "Monday" I'll be pissed.

Chicago is such a cool music city.

1. It was an excellent show. A very different set list than the previous night.

2. They didn't play "Monday," but I'm not pissed. "Casino Queen" was a rockin' blast!

3. I'm now more than just a tad sleepy. But the pitch meeting went well. And the (potential) client was smokin' hot.

4. Chicago is, indeed a cool music city. No doubt.

5. Making FA JEALOUS was the main purpose of this thread in the first place, so my work is done here. :p

good for you. I regret not seeing the band in Mobile a couple of years ago due to having to work late to meet a deadline. There were some songs from that Mobile stop featured in Ashes of American Flags (dvd) and the dvd cover displays what is affectionately known as the Dolly Parton Bridge on I-65 crossing the Mobile River Delta. Just wish I coulda been at the show.

Awesome show, huh? One highlight was when they introduced "Box Full of Letters" as being the 'latest single from their new LP release'... and then tossing a vinyl copy their first album into the crowd.

I shoulda mentioned before that Tortoise opened. Not really my thing, and kind of ill-suited to the venue... but I've definitely seen worse.

...the songs you mentioned. Well, many of them at least. From the looks of it, it was a great show and I don't think they could ever let me down.
