I think for my own amusement, I will recommend one kung-fu/asian action flick per week on here. I will post a short "review" with it. My goal is to help any non kung-fu types to find the really great and watchable flicks out there. Let me watch 1000's of crappy movies so you don't have to... this week will be a re-post from my current thread. For any who are interested, keep your eyes peeled and please reply with opinions and such...
...I just rewatched Versus by Ryuhei Kitamura. Now THAT'S a movie...great story, great action and superb dialogue. Versus is great and also his newer flick Death Trance was pretty good.
The Rebel was amazing and for those who maybe don't know him it features Johnny Tri Ngyuen, one of the best right now. He had a great fight scene with Tony Jaa in the Protector, but he's really come into his own and this flick is proof why. Super awesome story, great action and great dialogue. This is one hell of a movie...
