My local hi-fi store sells the new Nad CD player (Nad 542) for $699Cnd. It has all the latest features, Burr-Brown, HDCD etc. heres a link to the player:

They also have a customer trade-in CD player from Audio Analogue, its called the "Audio Analogue Paganini", i'ts 2-1/2 years old but they tell me it retailed for about $2000Cnd. Here is a link to some information I found about it:

My question is, should I get the new Nad or the used Paganini? I hadn't even heard of Audio Analogue before this?
