So I was wooh`d avfew years ago as a 19 year old and forked over 5g`s for 2 Sets of Nuance MK2`s their matching Center and a Harmon Kardon AVR 525.

Now 3 years later I have 4 speakers that sound like crap cause theyve had weekly parties played on them. A - all the International Stereo`s in Edmonton were bought out then renamed Audio Video Source or something like that. Then those closed and there is nowhere in Edmonton selling them! So B- Where in the F do I get the rest of my 10 year unconditional warranty. The sales guy actually told me I could break a beer bottle and plunge it into the driver and they'd replace it for free.. yeah right guys there laughing now!

So now Im older.. more mature.. a little wiser.. Its time to get some new speakers. I want drowning lows, punching mids, and piercing highs. I have 4 JL 10`` subs on a JL 10001v2 with 15farad power cap in my truck for bump and GTO components for my mids and highs. Great sound quality at all volume levels.

This is what I want from the new speakers I purchase. Bass from the towers doesnt need to be overall crazy I just want them to pump when I want to crank them and not have to worry about them getting lazy and slow in time.

Steer me to my new babies guys.. If you where in your twenties and had a couple grand to spend on a set of towers what would you buy...

Also i have 2of the same Sony 12`` powered floor subs(about 4 years old).. there also in rough sounding shape. I would rather just pick up one new powered sub that is gonna take a beating... literally lol

Thanks again for any input

That's because they probably didn't mind spending 20 bucks to replace a woofer in those 2500 dollar speakers:nonod:

I would consider the Monitor Audio RS8's. They have deep bass.

They can be found here http://www.saturdayaudio.com/ for $1650pr.

Here are a couple of others http://www.audioadvisor.com/prodinfo.asp?number=PBIMGT

These are excellent speakers http://www.audioadvisor.com/prodinfo.asp?number=TACS1.6

the paradigm monitor series coupled with a nice sub (or 2) would give you very nice results
