I didn't know the club "elders" had even been gone. I didn't know Troy was old either, but if you say so...

Thanks for thinking of me. Elder and getting older.
Still doing the occasional prog radio show here in Toronto.
Unfortunately, I haven't been coming out to play with you guys. Maybe I should.
Is there still prog talk going on here?
Hi Dave.
Expecting the new Keith Emerson Band and Karmakanic to arrive soon.
I see there's a new Moraz CD out too!
Listening right now to Queensryche's Operation Mindcrime, and have the 25th Anniversary Edition of Vangelis' Blade Runner soundtrack in the trays, along with The Way Up by Pat Metheny Group.

I'm starting to feel like an Ent but have never left.
I was in contact with Demitrio within the past year when I was trying to get info on the Mary Fahl-DSOTM project that got nixed. It took me several emails and a few weeks but he did finally reply and said all was good.
Yo Barry, nice to hear from you too. Stick around, the Geezers are taking over.

What I wanna know is, what's the dealio with the apostrophe in elder? It's not elder is, and it's not possesive.
Too many apostrophes in today's world.
fp <------ wayyyy elder

It could be possessive. If it was a single elder doing the attacking then the apostrophe is correct.
And, BTW, there are two double esses in possessive.

For you Centrum Silver Keith Emerson fans on the left coast, just saw he's adding dates to May, so far it's Canyon Club Agoura Hills, CA Fri, 05/08/09 10:00 PM. Surely they'll be some more additions, this tour is being put together day by day. The only way to keep up is with ticketmaster.com and search on Keith Emerson.
The new album is a strong return to form, and surely he'll be doing some ELP tunes. Don't forget your miracle ears.

There's talk of another reunion ELP tour in the fall. What's Lake been up to? He's been in hiding since Emerson published his autobiography.

Hi,
Barry, you will love the new Karmakanic, it is doggoned killer. I got the new Martin Orford too but can't dig it - it's foo foo fluffy as crap but lots of people rant about it, maybe one day it will connect.
Javier, my foot is okay, sometimes it feels arthritic and painful but it doesn't really bother me unless I jump on the trampoline too long or do too many back flips and gainors off of the diving board. Cycling doesn't hurt it at all.
Looking forward to new SAGA and their new dvd!

Ah, the Velvet Fog as faded away....! Alas! Alack!
My ears were ringing. Must have been this Old Farts thread. Good to see ole Dave G. alive and well. Oddly enough, I was just thinking about Demetrio yesterday when I was in Lou's Records near San Diego. Remember those great posts he had detailing prog bands from each country?

Troy - I'm with you when it comes to $$. Trying to make ends meet is my life right now. Under-employed - great way to put it!

Talk about a blast from the past. I need to dig out my 'Girls Against Boys' comp...or is it Boys Against Girls? Boyz Agin' Girlz? Anyway, very cool that you're back, if only for a fleeting moment.

Thanks - good to see you are still here as well, Swish. I miss y'all and the excellent conversation, and intend on checking in fairly regularly.
