BASICALLY AR is owned by Harmon, which also owns harmony.
Which is what this is, basically, a re-badged harmony remote, perhaps a bit cheaper.
Keystone is COORS off of the bottom of the vat.
This is a harmony remote offa the bottom of the vat...:1:

Like GM'S underwear, it depends.
If its just badge engineering then it might be a virtual clone of a harmony.
HOWEVER if they are just dumping units that dont measure up to harmony
standards the results of buying one might be quite dire.
A lot of companies do this, shunt product that dont want to put the badge on but
can still sell as a
bargain brand.
MILLER has Milwalkees best
COORS has keystone
B&W has Warfdale(or so I HAVE HEARD)
And of course the devil has BOSE.:1:

yeah really, even the devil is ashamed of bose

my theory is that if it isn't branded harmony it wont work as well as a harmony. there are a lot of nicer remotes out there, but very few of them work even half as well

NOBODY.
VIZIO has everybody else.
Truth is the TV industry is so incestuous these days that its hard to keep track without
a playbook.
All I know is...PLASMAS DEAD.
Beyond that its anybodies guess.:1:

This is a harmony remote offa the bottom of the vat...:1:It is most definitely NOT a re-badged Harmony. AR has licenced UEIC (makers of One-for All remotes) to make its remotes, and this is UEIC's competitor to the Harmony. Quite frankly, as a long-time OFA remote user (and JP1 hacker), I have found UEIC's remotes to be very good and am looking forward to seeing this entry into the higher-end market. I own a Harmony ONE that I love, but expect that the XSight will give it a run for its money. A Google search for XSight will reveal any number of reviews, and reports from owners in Europe, where it is already available.

Well I have one (a European version badged as One for All vice Acoustic Research) and have written down some observations here. (http://www.hifi-remote.com/forums/viewtopic.php?p=75436#75436)
