I have been holding back on asking this, but here goes.

I've run across great deals on Integra Research products. I've read that Balanced Audio Technologies, Apogee clock, and THX Industries all worked together with Onkyo/Integra to design these and so far it sounds better than anything I have ever heard. Of course now, because I have gotten really good deals, I'm wonding if I'm making a mistake. Retail on all three back around 2003, the RDV-7 DVD/DVD-A player, RDC-7 PRE/PRO(with upgrade to 7.1), and RDA-7 7-channel amp was $12,500. I've got less than $2000 in the three. It makes me wonder.....PLEASE tell me what you all know about this equipment!

I have had an Integra DTR 7.4 for about four years.
Its run perfect teh entire time.
Its better ergonomically than its sister Onkyo products.
Best thing is it has some audiophile features, like a phono stage, audiophile q amps,
etc.
And it looks nice also, certainly worth the premium over Onkyo.
Very nice stuff, highline without the price.:1:

PIX - Did you READ my question? I was referring to INTEGRA RESEARCH. http://www.integraresearch.com/
I have an Integra DTR-7.2 in my living room set-up and although it sounds good, definitely better than Onkyo, I believe it is mid-range and NOT audiophile quality.
