Hey all,

I just need help finding a super cheap speaker system for under 30 dollars. I would prefer some type of surround sound. I would prefer good quality sound over loudness or volume but a balance would be nice. I want to be able to use the system with a TV and laptop/computer but I'm sure a simple adapter is out there to do this.

I've been looking on Amazon.com and have found these systems. I'm an Amazon Prime member so I prefer that I get it from there but if you know of a way better system somewhere else that would be great too. Thanks all!

you really expect us to go through all those sites for your $30 speakers?

Try a again April 1st.

I mean all the links are for amazon.com and they are direct links to the speakers im looking at. If you don't want to help out then don't. You don't need to comment on it though. I just have never bought speakers before and don't know how to tell if a system is good or not.

First of all, this belongs in the PC Audio section.
Second, you will be hard pressed finding a good sounding set of speakers for $30.

What will you be using them for? MP3s? Gaming?

You may want to visit the PC Audio section and look at some older posts by SpankingVanillaIce or SVI as we call him. He swapped out $10-$30 speakers more often than he changed his uderwear and wanted us all to comment on each cheaper pair.

In the long run, you need to go to a store and take your music with you and try a few pairs. You just can't decide from a picture and skewed specs. There are no good sounding sets of $30 speakers.

Like HyFi said, you don't get much with that budget. Also, forget about any multi-channel stuff. You're lucky to get two channels.

But, I bought these for $25 at the local Walmart in Corpus Christi (they don't list them on line) to keep at my son's house so I could play my Ipod and CD player when we're there. I've also seen them in the Walmarts here in Jersey.

Considering their size and price, it does a pretty good job if you don't expect ear-splitting levels, and I'm fairly picky. As for the others in your list, I have no experience so I'll just keep out of it..
