Based upon suggestions made in my "Most Disturbing Movie) thread, I rented "Salo" an Italian film from 1975 which depicts horrific events in the Nazi occupied portion of Italy called Salo, late in the Second World War. Four men of "power" a Monsignor, President, Duke and Magistrate, marry one anothers daughters, kidnap 18 young boys and girls and retire to a country estate to heap pain, humiliation, and eventually torture and death on their victims.
All I can say is that this movie was/is one of the most disturbing films I've ever seen. Just when you think it can't get any worse, it does. Not for the feint of heart, weak of stomach or humane of spirit. Can't say I'm glad I've seen it. See it at your own risk.
