went to BB to grab a thumbdrive, and a few misc items, and ended up they had a "doorbuster" deal going on there, LG 42PG20 for $699 (CDN), G/F and I have been talking about getting rid of all the bulky stuff (ent.cntr/ 36" sony tube, etc) from the BR, and she thought it would be a good idea to check prices on 32-37" for the BR when we saw this one.

Ya, i know, its plasma, and ya i know its only 720p, but for the price, I dont think it was too bad of an impulse buy ;)

Congrats! 720p for a 42" will be just fine.

That'll work...not everybody is anti-plasma on this forum, just the vocal few. Let us know how it works out and "congrats".

I miss the River Rock.

the "ent.cntr" its on are actually the audio racks from the cntr, didnt want a big wall unit in the BR, and the "coffee table styles" were too low for the bed, so i heaved the 36" Sony on those when we moved in (not fun, getting it down wasnt too bad LOL)

Any way those are going to the garage for car parts storage once i get the cables and mounting bracket (hopefully this weekend) and properly install the tv...

Pix to come when finished......

picture is a little decieving, that wall is aprox 7' tall, the ceiling is about 9'6" tall where the TV is, so the top of the tv is prob a little over 6' @ the top, Meanwhile the bed is prob about 2'6" to the top of the mattress. Just an optical illusion, Makes it easier to watch too. The TV will be mounted (top to top) about the same level as the black candle sonces.

heres a pic of the bedroom that shows the depth a little better, the guy in the BG is on stilts, and is prob about 8' tall in the shot
