I just scored some free Sansui pm-c100 speakers, but i can't seem to find any information about them on the internet? Can anyone tell me anything about them? Are they rare or something? Perhaps even worth a little money?

Thanks for the info, but how did you find that? When i search ebay, it does not show any results for pm-c100. How did you get results from 2007?

Do a simple online search with your browser or Google search window. I used AOL search. The Ebay info was on a linked pdf file.

From an old Orion's Bluebook, the Sansui PM-c100 were made from 1982 to 1984. They have a new list price of 800 a pair.

PM-c series highest speaker was the PM-C200 which was made from 84 to 86 and had a new list price of 1000 pair. The PM-C100 were 2nd in the pecking order to the PM-c200.

Other than having some pictures on the Best of Sansui web page, there is not much about them out there.

Very nice classic 1970's-early 80's looking speaker. Brings back good memories of my college partying days and my Altec Lansing and Canon TLS speakers. I love that huge woofer!

OK, now you're talkin, Blackraven. Hope you guys don't mind if I insert a photo of the
Altec Lansing 846's I had in the early 70's and into the late 80's. I got them mail order for $560/pair brand new and sold them in about 1990 for $800. They had a 15" driver and the mid/high horn was so sweet in the mids. They were in the 100dB sensitivity area. Weighed about 105 lbs. My Marantz 2270 had enough power to blow up the neighborhood. We had some amazing parties!
