That's a nice looking vintage Yamaha.

Search HERE (http://www.yamaha.co.jp/manual/english/index.php) for Yamaha manuals -- they don't have manuals for all models and I couldn't find one for an A-2000 but check for yourself.

Haven't heard, but for $2500 it has lots of competion.

I personally love the retro look!!!
I've been tempted several times to grab a Sony CDP-X779 ES, and send it off for a modification.
