An endorsement for Amazon

I ordered a couple of business books from Amazon on Monday and they were shipped to my office on Tuesday. By yesterday afternoon, I hadn't received them which is unusually long. So I plugged in my tracking number and their records showed that the books had been delivered. On the Canada Post tracking site I could see that the books had been delivered and signed for on Wednesday morning. But the signature was no-one in our office.

I work in a small office tower with only about 8 businesses in the building. So I went to each office and asked if someone there had signed for my package in error. No-one had it.

Long story short...Canada Post was useless in trying to help me (no surprise there) and Amazon is replacing the books at their expense. No questions asked...I just told them that the books had been signed for but I had no idea where they were actually delivered to and Amazon offered to send out a new shipment which I should receive on Monday.

Now that's good service!

I've never had any problems at all with Amazon. (looks around for some wood to knock on but can't find any, Uh Oh.). I actually buy a fair amount of stuff through them because I can usually find great prices whether it be direct from Amazon or one of their vendors. I actually bought my 52" LCD through them and saved several hundred dollars. Great fast service.

I have purchased all 175 HD DVD's and all of my 370+ blurays from Amazon. As a prime member, I have never paid for shipping, received my video's when they said they were coming, quickly took back and replaced defective discs, and have the cheapest disc prices on the internet. I am a Amazon man!

Both packages arrived on Friday. We still don't know who signed for the first one or where is was from Wednesday to Friday, but it eventually made it to our office. I have contacted Amazon and am sending the second package back.
