Dallas what a beautiful fish. He looks lonely will he be joining others soon?

Bettas are VERY territorial toward any fish that they think is another male Betta invading their territory. So they can't have other Bettas in the same bowl.

Sounds fishy to me.
How does he like your new speakers?

That's a beautiful fish, but I agree with JohnMicheal that he looks lonely. What if you put a female fish in the bowl?

Heck, don't use the fish in any "other" holes either! He (the fish) IS NOT supposed to be there. :cryin: :nonod: :ciappa: :yikes:
Oh, and I agree. he looks lonely. At least get him some rocks and a plant. Fish like scenery. The scenery he is probably seeing right now might send him to an early grave.

Not necessarily true Spanky. I once raised three male Beta's and I had them in the same 30 gallon tank, and since there were places behind rocks and such for them to duck-n-cover, no cannabalization ever occured. If you think they're pretty, why stop at just one?

Cause he doesn't have a 30 gallon tank?:1:

He's got money for M-audio speakers so surely he's got the cash for a 30 gallon setup. I'm willing to bet that if he sets up a 10 gallon tank properly he'll be able to have two males co-exist without trouble.
BTW, I've never seen what a female Beta looks like, but the coloring of the male is nothing short of breathtaking IMO.

Are we getting a glimpse of why you changed from Moosehead to BASS ale?
Sometimes you guys just make it too easy for me.
