Well my son and I just got back from seeing the next offering from the Chronicles of Narnia series. Most of the poor reviews I have read criticize it for its over reliance on battle scenes and CGI but I really did not get that sense. I not saying it is a great movie and certainly not in the class of Iron Man but a good solid effort IMO. The kids are a little older and little better actors than the first film and I think that helps.
The movie is 2.5 hrs long and quite honestly after a somewhat slow start it kept my attention the whole time and it did not drag on say like the last couple of "Pirates of the Carribean" flicks. I would not say drop what your doing and run to see it but if you were planning to see a movie this weekend this one would be worth the price of admission and a bucket of popcorn.
