Hi, i am trying to find the loosers and winners in the amps...

- JOB stereo / mono
- Acoustic reality 202 or 1001 ref mono
- Naim , best one
- Creek, destiny
- Mark levinson any of the best
- Totem pole, kit
- Dun mei audio, from china
- Telefunken vintage
- Normende vintage
- Saba vintage

if any one listened to those amps and compaired them please share.
Naim , Creek , Telefunken, Krell dont impress me at all... so i start from there
i am quite newbie to transistor amp, being a tube fan trying to replace my 845.

because then I'm sorry to tell you that there ain't such a thing as the best.

it's all subjective...

If you're looking for the closest thing to an SET in a transistor design, look no further than the First Watt F3. It is an amazingly sophisticated, yet simple single stage designed and hand built by Nelson Pass. It is the only commercial power JFET amplifier available today. Power JFETs operate more like triodes and this amp is run single ended Class A.

The only *downside* is that like SET amps, it has low power (15 watt) output.

very cool amp, thanks for the repply :)
it would be perfect for my speakers for sure:)

mm for the other amps comparisons maybe we could look for :

1. Impression , is it sounding right ?
2. is the frequency of music full , realistic, enjoyable to listen
is it fast enough to reproduce evrything ,
I heared that the highest frequency it can give a flat response the faster the amp circuit is
...
3. is it a keeper ? enjoyable in long term.
