meridian amps

Hi, my meridian amp keeps shorting out. does not go to standby mode, burns fuse within 20 seconds, any ideas on what could be happening?

are the speakers still connected? are there any bare wires touching eachother?

otherwise it's most likely in the amp, could be a blown transistor...

Which meridian are we talking about?
