Hello!
Does anybody know any European hybrid amp in the same quality and price range as JoLida 1501?
JoLida 1501 costs about $1500 in Europe, and I think it's really too much for an amp that costs $600 in the States! So, I'm looking for European alternatives...
Thanks for your help!

Vincent audio makes a hybrid amp for around that price. I'm not sure of the quality though.

vincent is actually chinese...
but you could try Primaluna though...
they're not hybrids (all tubes...), but quality is supposed to be decent...
Keep them spinning,

Thanks guys!
In fact, I really fell in love with JoLida's hybrid sound, and I would like to hear some other hybrid amps, but made in Europe...
So is there anything like that on the market except chinese Vincent?
And Basite, do you think Primaluna sounds similar to JoLida?
Thanks again!

Pathos is Italian.
good suggestion!!
they're not really cheap though, but definately worth the money...
and I think Advance Acoustic makes one or 2 hybrid integrateds too...
I don't know if Primaluna sounds similar to jolida, but remember Primaluna is all tube. all tube will most likely sound different than hybrid...
also, Primaluna uses tube rectifiers, which gives a warmer (more vintage) sound too...
Keep them spinning,
Bert.

And what about Unison Research Unico series?
Could anybody compare them to Jolida?
Cheers!

Thanks guys, but Pathos seems to be in 2-3 times higher price range than Jolida and Unison...
Is Unison Research comparable to Pathos since they are from the same city? ;)
Copland would be an alternative from Denmark.

Pretty sure Vincent is German. Audio Advisor sells them, and the 236 has gotten absolutely rave reviews. I'm thinking of getting a hybrid and if cost was no object I'd grab one of those in a second. They are $2000, vs. around $800 for the Jolida 1501 with remote (in the US).
In a lower price range, there is the BADA DC-222. Chinese OEM for Musical Fidelity. 6moons did a write-up on someone selling a modded one for $5000 (stock is around $600).
