Digital out

Hey guys, short one cable for now. Will a Standard 75 ohm Linear Video cable work as an Digital out from my TV to my A/V Receiver? Thank you for your prompt reply.

A composite video cable will have the bandwidth to pass digital info as I understand. You should get a good quality digital coax when you can though, an inferior cable can introduce jitter problems which could result in a less quality sound.
