I would like buy a Cassette Deck for hear my old Jazz MC. I view two deck's, one is the Yamaha KX-580SE and the other is the Technics RS-AZ6. Which of these two is better?

Yamaha tape decks are built to last, and the ones I've heard make very good recordings. I don't think Yamaha ever made cheap entry level tape decks, so you're pretty safe going with them.

Technics can be all over the map with their component quality. I recall that their tape decks were not that great, but they also made some higher end models that I'm not as familiar with. So, with the Technics you'll probably want to investigate a bit further.

Buy the Yammie and buy it quick. It is a deck that blows the Technics out of the water. The Yammie is a rare Dolby S deck. By definition, any deck with Dolby S had to meet certain quality specifications. The Yammie retailed for $400 in 94, the Technics for $280. How much are they asking for the Yammie?
