Astronomy Picture Of the Day

Something I visit from time to time, from an online astronomy class I took a while back. The site is self explanatory. Every now and then I run across something incredible looking. This ones going on the desktop background. I just had to share it.

Yep, my personal fav is the Pillars of Creation, a very similar phenomenon near a whole 'nuther Nebula, IIRC.

Those gas clouds are light years in size...man I feel small.
