I have tried some free trial version tools to convert the video file format but none of them gave me the option to conver WMV to AVI or MPEG. Is there any other way to convert WMV? I searched but didn't find what I needed. So I am seeking your help. Thanks!

I'm not so sure about the spam. No links, no requests to check out "products".

So, if you are looking for some software check out:
DivX
1Click
Movavi

All have either free trials, or demo periods.

Well the spammers are getting smart these days. Check out all the posts put up by this person and you will see that a newbie just so happens to have the perfect solution to the stated problem. And that's when the link comes in. Like this:

There's about 5 or 6 more just like this.

I must confess, I went to the link on the first link you provided, and I had seen that one earlier. Spam or not, I went to MovAvi, and d/l the product. I'll tell you what, thats one powerful suite of video editing. It was exactly what I needed.

I'm not kidding. I used the free trial, was so impressed I bought it.

I guess it depends on what they are shilling. To its defense though, the Movavi suite is a good option if you need video editing/DVD burning. Ive used others before, but this one works pretty good.
