First she told the Bush administration that they couldn't wiretap without public disclosure, and now she's at it again - give the woman a medal for bravery already!

Its about time sombody stood up to the RIAA. This whole piracy thing is a sham, and survey after survey has shown this. This is nothing more than an attempt to control how we use the music we purchase. I am not a fan of piracy, but study after study has shown that file sharing does not negatively effect sales, it may actually push it. What the RIAA needs to do is inform the record companies that their products are crap, and sounds like crap. If they improve the quality of the content, and lay off the compression, sales will actually improve. I cannot tell you how many times a good mix has been ruined by over aggressive compression. It makes a good engineer sick to their stomach
