I've visited, posted on a wide range of internet message boards over the years.
However, I think I've found just about the oddest collection of obsessives yet..

I can't say that I've fallen (risen?) to the level of some of these guys, but it is kind of nice to really enjoy it instead of it being just a *chore*
Anyone here have a more advanced ritual other than a Mach 3 and Goo-in-a-can?

They have more "members online" than we do.
No way I'm letting a sharp blade near my face; I've been electric since I was a kid.

Actually, some of us have already had this conversation (sort of). There seems to be no clear cut consensus among AR folk and nobody seemed overly obsessed...http://forums.audioreview.com/showthread.php?t=24232
It seems the "badger crowd" has some thoughts on us as well:

Wow that's funny. Good timing I guess. I think "wet shaving" is making some kind of comeback, though it never went away for me, I've been using a brush/razor for over 15 years now. I never would have seen that thread.. I haven't posted/read outside of Rave Recordings on this site in over 5 years..(at least).
The shavers over there do have pretty wide-ranging interests. We actually had a civil discussion on religion a few weeks back.
And the occasional music thread too.

There's a growing belief that someday we may, repeat may, be able to do that here
...someday. :D

Shaving with a knive edge makes only slightly more sense to me than listening to music from vinyl discs.

I'm prone to razor burn with an electric, so I wet shave. I use an aloe vera based lotion that's so slick, the blades last twice as long.
Maybe I should join that board.

You get razor burn because you shave every third day. Do it daily, and that won't happen! (or perhaps you have an aloe vera fetish!).
Are you liking opera yet?
