Any of you guys put together a comp for tailgating before a college football game? You know, tunes that you like, but that are also generally more or less pleasing to the masses whether they've heard the tunes or not. Kinda like a party mix I guess. (Somethin' that might make a group of 30-year-olds [late 30s even] feel like they're in college again.) It doesn't have to be genre specific. Suggestions or track lists are welcome.
Rock Lobster- B52s
Baba O'Reilly- the Who
Hyperactive- Thomas Dolby
Through being cool- Devo
Billion Dollar Baby- Alice Cooper
Melt the Guns- XTC
Viva Las Vegas- Dread Zeppelin
Baby's on Fire- Eno
White punks o=n Dope- The Tubes
Bomb's Away- the Police
Addidas in Heat- Adrian Belew

Unfortunately I went to Michigan State (circa 93 -97), so its not so much "tailgating" as it is "quiet seething frustration." :17: SPARTY ON! WOOOO!
Greatest hits CDs are actually really good for this. We are all in our early 30s so this might not work, but... this is the junk that invariably comes out on Saturday afternoons. There are also hip-hop and techno versions too, just in case anyone has the urge to down a couple shots of Aftershock! and "C'mon Ride the Train (Ride It)!"
Remember Seven Mary Three and Candlebox?! Neither does anyone else!

My brother and I and our wives have tickets to the Bama/LSU game. I figure since kickoff is at 4:00 and we plan on arriving on campus no later than 10:00am, with the right party favors it won't take long get into some obligatory frat rock, AC/DC, So. Rock, and music from my college days.

HA! I've seen that!
My brother's taking care of the hip-hop/funky stuff. I hope he doesn't bring his break dancing mat.
