hey guys im kinda new to the whole audio thing however i used to own a bose 301 series V and an onkyo 501 amp which i then sold for peanuts, now im looking at buying a valve amp most likly one of the following

. the reason for this is one of my friends had a very similar amp if not exactly the same and some standard cheap old speakers of decent quality and it sounded amazing, actually i pretty much creamed myself literally. just want to know if theres anything wrong with these. anyway ive pretty much decided its going to be one of those amps unless someone convinces me otherwise but now im trying to decide on which speaker to buy as i have no idea atm. as u can see budget is a relevant importance here. ive been looking at these

i know the last ones a white van speaker company and what not and they look pretty ridiculous but ive heard there actually not that bad to many peoples suprise. any other suggestions very welcome. oh and its only for music and there going to be used in a bedroom recording studio.
thanks
