I want to connect my Oppo 981 and Panasonic Plasma 50" with a decent HDMI cable.

What should be the choice between QED and Kimber Kable ???

Thanks.

I'm not familiar with the HDMI cables you listed, but I did a comparison with the cable that comes with the OPPO and a higher priced cable ($65 -1.5 meter) and didn't find any difference. This may be due to the age of my ol'eyes tho.

This is a lot like the discussions about interconnects and speaker wire. I had an opportunity to do my own testing when I was setting up a friend's system, I found no difference in HDMI cables and we had a bunch to choose from. Just find one that is well made with good ends that will withstand the occasional tug (this is a weak-spot) for HDMI since most cables don't have side-screws like many DVI cables do.
