Displaying HDMI on both of my HDTV ( both plasmas) was a challenge. Initially, I tried a cheap HDMI "Y" cable, and just connected to both HDTV. That definaly does not work as I found out that HDCP does not allow this.

Finally got a hold of a 1x2 HDMI splitter distribution amp (http://octavainc.com/HDMI%20distribution%20amp_splitter%202%20port.html ) and that accomplished the job. It has 2 HDMI outputs , 1 HDMI input and you just connect the HDTV to the HDMI outputs. The picture on both is really clear. I plan on having football parties in the Fall and its perfect to have games shown upstairs and downstairs.

What I really like about this is that it also has a Optical audio Toslink Output that extracts the audio from the HDMI and lets me run the sound to my "non-HDMI" capable AV receiver. So I can get sound to the HDTV and also from the AV receiver!

I have several HDMI sources and multiplex them using a HDMI switch (http://octavainc.com/HDMI%20switch%205port.htm). Now I simply cascade the HDMI switch with the HDMI splitter and I can watch any HDMI source on both HDTV.

It was hard too find, so I hope others find this useful.
