Does anyone know of any truth to the rumor that this band is touring again as a reunion type of thing?

Hater. :hand:

As far as I'm concerned, to have a reunion all you need is Billy and Chamberlin playing Pumpkins songs. Chamberlin is THE greatest rock drummer of the last twenty years. D'arcy and Iha are replacable, imnsho. Too bad those tour dates are "el sucko."

Agreed. It will be interesting...I was not a huge fan of the Zwan project, which had a few decent tracks, but was a little uneven overall. Corgan is brilliant and really needs talented musicians behind him that are OK with not being part of the creative process. Corgan likes to be the fuel and his track record shows that when he's leading the charge that things go quite well, albums like Siamese Dream for example. I liked James Iha too, but not really sure he's a vital part of the band anymore. I even liked his solo album, but it was a far departure from typical The Smashing Pumpkins material.

Billy Corgan's solo album was so-so with some decent tracks, but not a masterpiece by any stretch. I'd personally like him to do more stuff like that of Adore.
