Now, I know its still like three weeks away, but I can't be the only person excited for the release of Grindhouse.

Could you ask for better casting? Seriously, I've been waiting for someone to cast Freddy Rodriguez in a role like this. Kurt Russel, too. I'm still waiting for the sequel to Big Trouble in Little China.

What do you think. Will a double feature scare away the masses, or is there enough of an audience to support an anachronistic movie like this?

Niche market, baby. Have you seen the trailer(s)?

I never liked Paige. Too much lipstick.

If I ran the world this would be a mainstream movie. :cornut:

I don't know though. The Kill Bills grossed close to $400 million global. And with 300 (Spaaartaaaa!) opening at $70 million, who knows?

i pretty much watch anything Robby Rod makes (the only exception so far being shark boy and lava girl, which i'm sure i'll catch eventually) so i'll be checking it out.

I think a better comparison would be From Dusk Til Dawn -- just two directors having a great amount of fun making movies.

I'm kinda curious bout it but the inclusion of tarantino in the project does nothing for me. He's overrated IMO.
