I finally bought Mclusky Do Dallas yesterday, and I must say it's kicking my ass. It's not quite as experimental or innovative as Refused or as whacked out as Racebannon or The Blood Brothers, but that's part of the beauty of this album: its hooks. If any of you know of any other albums in the same vein as this one that are close to being this good, please let me know.

Here's one:

McLusky - My Pain And Sadness Is More Sad And Painful Than Yours ;) (2000 - re-issued in 2003)

I think it's every bit as good as McLusky Do Dallas, although not quite as focused. As an aside, IMO it has better sound quality too in spite of being a non-Alibini production. Also the vinyl definitely sounds better than the CD but both records have too much surface noise so in this case I'd recommend giving up a bit of sonics and get the CD instead.

BTW, they're supposed to have a new one already in the can. Can't wait :)
