Florian -- you're killing me. I can't believe you actually parsed that. I guess terse questions deserve terse answers.

Yeah, i mean by this time dont people understand that if the REALLY want help that they should spend more then 30 seconds phrasing a question? I mean, what electronics does he run, what room does he have, whats his budget and listening preferences? I cant believe people register here and expect good help expecting me to sit down and write a long detailed answere to their 30 seconds question.

Ian H, which models did you want to compare. I own a pair of earlier Legacy Focus (not the 20/20) and matching Silver Screen center channel. My Focus are a "purists" version without the three contour switches. I've also listened to their Whisper, Classic and Studio models. I purchased several of their in-walls and all-weather outdoor speaker at a killer discount. I do some traveling and for fun I visit audio shops and listen to speakers I wouldn't normally have the opportunity to in Indiana/Illinois. I've listened to a few Revels.
Both manufacturers are good with many outstanding models. I can't say that I prefer one over the other, or that one is better, only different. I feel the Legacy's are more dynamic with great accurate low-end, but the Revels sound more revealing with better mid-range. The Revels overall are more expensive and because their smaller, easier to move when setting up.

How about listening for yourself. It would help if you were more elaborative in your question.:ihih:
