View Full Version : Problem with BenQ n Denon

I have a Benq w100 projector and recently bought a Denon DVD Player 2930. Now Denon has a HDMI out put and Benq has a DVI-I input. I have tried to connect them with a HDMI cable with a HDMI to DVI converter. Now when I turned it ob the picture come out on my screen but it stick/pause and play again. Can anybody has any idea why it is doing this. Pls help as I and still using component and very much looking forward to see digital connection.

Can't help with your question but if you've a warranty with BenQ better utilize it quick as your company just filed for bancruptcy. Sorry dude.

The Denon's HDMI is expecting the BenQ to shake hands properly and recognize HDCP. If the BenQ's input doesn't feature HDCP, the DVD won't play correctly.

perhaps best to use component signal if the benq has it...

I'm not a big fan of the BenQ as far as picture quality, but they due hold up to higher heat temps ( My church has 2 and 1 sharp) the sharp much better pic ( very clear and wider viewing angle than the BenQ) but has heat issues.
