I'm looking for AV Preamps that provide XLR (or balanced) outputs. So far, I've found:

B&K Reference 50
Sunfire Grand Theater IV
Anthem AVM
Violet Audio ADP61

Any others that you know of?

Thanks!

Just giving another nod for the Outlaw 990. She's superb :)

After doing some research on all the XLR-equipped models I could find, I couldn't help but notice the OVERWHELMINGLY positive reviews of the Outlaw 990. Everywhere there was nothing but glowing reviews. And the price was just what I was budgeting for. :)

So I have a 990 that should be here next week sometime.

I wanted a preamp with XLR outputs to be used with active monitors. I'll be using the JBL LSR6328P's along with their 12" powered sub.

Thanks!

The Bryston SP2 has both RCA and XLR 5.1 outputs. Both sets can be used at the same time.

Just in case the Outlaw does not work out, one other one is the Cary Audio Cinema 11 Pre/Pro.

I use the XLR outputs on my Outlaw 990 to drive Paradigm Active speakers. As Borat says....VERYNICE!
