help in choosing a preamp

hi to everybody ! I want to buy a new preamp and I have the choice between a yamaha cx-1000 or a denon pra-1500 or a denon dap--2500. Is those preamp are hifi quality product..thank you.

Exactly what are you asking? Are you asking for an opinion concerning the quality of your choices? If so all I can say is that Denon is usually pretty good stuff. I've never owned one but I'm sure someone else on this site has and will respond.:cool:

Are you just looking for stereo playback? I have no direct experience with any of them. The PRA-1500 looks to be a possibility, it has balanced outs and was matched with Denon monoblocks. The CX1000 gets good comments and is said to be tube like, whatever that means to one. At least 2 of those preamps have reviews here on AR.
