You just off got off work got home wife's naggin ya to do some work around the house, ya turn on your pirzed sound system open the fridge to get a drink, what do you grab before goin back to your favorite chair: Heineken, Stella, Red Stripe. Ricards?

As a proud beer drinkin Canadian I personally prefer to grab either Sleeman's Pale Ale, or a Ricards Red.

i know, i saw their sign in the movie, i think it's in the netherlander's mind to make bad stuff and sell it all over the world saying they're the best.

(we belgians are completely different, we make reasonably good stuff, but we just can't sell it:) )

Keep em spinning

sadly it has even gone beyond the sign and into comercials, I recently saw a Heineekn commercial were bond order two heineken hinting at something in line of only the best at Casino Royale bar. What a shame that they now use so much advertising in movies.

I'll reach for a Kokanee beer. After about 2 or 3 I will then mix a Rye and coke.

well yeah, it's sad that today, everything has commercials in it, i mean, this is not only for beer and stuff, but think about it, when you read sponsored audio magazines (most of them), there is a chance they won't speak the truth about what they say, like preffering one product above another just because it sponors the magazine.

that said, it's time for a drink, no alcohol now (besides, the only drinks that i drink that contain alcohol are certain wines and very occasionally a beer, but for the rest, no alcohol)

peace,
Basite.

BTW Your new avatar is nice basite.:ihih:

thnx, the avatar is from a new media player (well, it's still in the beta phase, but it's available for download) it's build with the same engine as firefox, this means that it haves an internet browser in it, but that's just an addition, the great new thing on it however is that it includes sites that offer you free legal music, (mostly small, unknown bands that want to let themselves know) it's a bit like what myspace was to lilly allen, only this is for different music, it also includes other functions like internet radio and blah blah blah blah, could go on for hours, anyways,
here's a link to a video that shows all it's possebilities

about the chimay:
Chimay is great beer, one of the few i drink, i seriously recommend it, if you can.

Keep em spinning,

Killian's Irish Red
Kalik - beer of the Bahamas. I've only recently been able to find it in the States and only in Florida.
Abita Amber - one of many varieties of Abita from Louisiana.

non-alcoholic - IBC cream soda and IBC root beer.

Personally I like Sleeman's Honey Brown. Ricard's Red is insipid and overly sweet by comparison.

Sleeman brands are compeditive with many famous world brands and way head of Heineken and Stella Artois, IMO.

TyNant. As a single guy I rarely have the nagging issue, and rarer still does it last for any length of time. Having tried it both ways, I find I get more out of the listening experience when sober...
