"...right click on the thread you want to read and click on 'open in new window.'"

Saves much time. Thanks for that, whomever you were (this place is so convoluted, I won't even bother trying to find who posted it).

Then, if you've got too much crap on your screen, hit F11, and that will give you a little more viewing room.

That's all swell, but I don't like tha fact that you can't see the preceeding posts when you are composing your message.

And I still can't attach an image.

I click manage attachments. I click choose image and surf for it in my HD. I click add this file and nothing happens. And how come I can't attach an image from someplace else in the www? Why does it have to be in my HD? Can't some smart guy from AR then surf into my HD and access ANYTHING in it?

I suppose I could do it like this . . .

But I wanna stick the image in here.

That was me yesterday. After all that Bit__ing (no cuss words with this new script) & moaning... I DID leave with a positive tip. Glad someone made use of it. (actually I'd posted that a few months back... no doubt buried at the bottom of some obscure thread... LOL).

I don't have a problem with loading anymore (cable, hehehe), but it was always a pain to have the stupid script re-load the entire first page after EVERY thread view. Since it used to be around 200K, it'd take nearly a minute (with my dial-up) for every thread... insane.(& uneeded).

Even better though (I didn't mention this because most people have IE), is to get the new stand-alone Mozilla browser Firebird. It has some nice features (once you get used to it). You can click on any link (like the threads here) with your mousie's MIDDLE scroll button, and it opens that thread in a new window and tabs it on the toolbar... very neat. It's essentially the same thing as the "right-click" option I mentioned for IE.

BTW, this is the first Mozilla product I like. No bugs (yet), and looks way cool with the "sky pilot" skin for it.

(I've been called a lot of names... "wise-as_" is more likely than "wise"... but I'll take it Gary...LOL)

All you do is click the little insert image icon in the formatting toolbar. Either that or just type <img>image URL</img> except replace the normal HTML <> brackets with the vB code [] brackets ;)
