Would it hurt to have two amps hooked to the same set of speakers, while only one amp is turned on at any given time? Not talking bi-amping here.

The situation is that I have a HT setup and a separate 2-ch setup, and I want to use the same pair of speakers with each without having to go behind the speakers and switching speaker wires every time.

I'm thinking something bad could happen by running the output of one amp into the other amp that is turned off. :confused5:

Thanks,
-j

OK, good. So I'll look for, or rig up an A-B switch. :)
