Glass cd's. At >$800.00 per copy they're a little pricey but what the heck.

That's not nearly as cool as my collection of CD's that I have pressed in depleted uranium. The only problem is that while they do sound good, they have on minor setback...radiation.

"which is supposed to provide superior quality sound"

Unless it is a higher resolution format, there is nothing that would make it sound better.

Also glass is a viscous liquid, it will be out of shape in 100 years.

Imagine how good those glass CD's will sound once you smear Pixie Snot all over them...

Radiation is only a problem if you blast them at supersonic velocity against the walls of your listening room. :cornut:

As often as I drop cd's I will stick with the plastic version.

For $800.00 I could buy 50-plus SACDs and not be left with the desire to kick my own a$$...
