Just read that THE (IMO) greatest guitarist of the last 30 years is doing a porn film
soundtrack. Yes, Edward Van Halen, has really lost it. Pissing off Sammy/Mike
blowing off fans, I was hoping for one more go around with Dave, but the way those
two look, I don't think so. Hey Ed, it was a hellva ride, but....later.

Fair enough, how bout rock guitarist. Spin some early VH, forget the solos, which to this
day are still..wtf..how'd he do that, and listen to what the man is doing just fillling in
the rhythm section. Damn, let me go crank some, later

Sorry,just not impressed enough to put him in the top 10 of anything but just outside of the 10, maybe in the top 20 somewhere. BTW,i have said wtf as in what in the hell was that as in it has nothing to do with the song. Its like everything is going along and then he has lost control and goes off on this,i'm doing this and then i'll be back to the rest of you guys. Mini solo's inside the song is one thing but out of control is another but thats just mo. I think some of VH best songs is when he stays in control to the song.

I agree, IMO, some of the improvised stuff was pretty good. I always felt he was more
comfortable live anyway. On some studio tracks, I always felt he was being "restrained"
and it sounds sometimes like he was bored. Lets say a talented guy has lost it, and
as a long time fan, it kinda sucks, the guys into major drugs now, and looks like a
bum.
